Thrifty Shopping & Organization at it's Best! Giveaway!?

Happy Tuesday to ya'll, how's it goin'!?  I have some more updates for you, including some awesome thrifty finds as well as a copy-cat organization trick that I totally stole from Amanda over at My Oklahoma Nest.  (You should totally check her out!)

I had already found a great coat hanger to use as my necklace hanger, but now I needed something for my long, dangly earrings.  My jewelry box was just getting overcrowded!  I'm kind of a neat freak, so I needed something quick and easy to put together.  Amanda was the right chick to go to!  Read her post on how she created her earring/bracelet organizer.

First, we went to Lowe's and bought this sheet of fencing material.  It's almost like foil.  Now, I have to tell you, it's kind of expensive...$22.00 expensive.  So, it's a budgeting project, for sure!

We also bought chain for my bracelets - $0.99.

We bought some hooks to put it on the wall securely...and vwa-la!  My earring/bracelet organizer!

As you can see, I need some more earrings!  Right, hubby!?  ;)

And here is the final look in our walk-in closet.  It's perfect!  I've got my cool necklace hanger, a full-size mirror, and my earrings & bracelets - all organized.  Everything is right there!  Do you have something like this!?

We've been working hard, people - we added some more things to our "Music Room" (formal Living Room).  Notice any changes?  Yup!  The matted frame above the piano, and also our array of musical instruments are neatly displayed.  It's ok, you can say it....Band Geeks! ;)

Another view.  Curtains and a rug are coming next in this house...slowly but surely.

We put up our wall clock above the half bath on the main floor.

An oil painting of a pig (I collected them) is now upstairs inbetween the two guest rooms.

Here's the view from the Master Bedroom.  I think Brody likes it!

Alright, on to some thrifty finds!  Pat and I stopped by Goodwill yesterday, and a few other places, and found this cute Santa candle holder for $1.00.  It's ready to go for the holiday season in a few months!

I found this adorable 4th of July door hanger at Kmart for only $6.99!

Found this vanilla bean scented, earthy potpourri for my new $5.99 basket, on clearance!  Only $9.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond!

Pat found these in Marshall's - only $2.99!

And finally - I had an AMAZING find yesterday at Goodwill.  It took a little bit of convincing for my husband - but I immediately found this piece of furniture and wanted it.  It's a perfect fixer-upper!

**ATTENTION - GIVEAWAY GIVEAWAY GIVEAWAY!**
That's right - for the reader who guesses correctly what piece of furniture I found, they will win a $10.00 gift certificate to Best Buy and a $10.00 gift certificate to Itunes!

Goodwill find - I was going to say bench, but not sure if that counts cuz K above said that too. LOL If it doesn't count, I'll go with a chair.

And I am loving your jewelry organizers. I so need those!
