THE Coat and More!

So, the time has come to reveal which coat my husband actually got me for Christmas!

Remember, he knows my obsession with JS, so he had sweetly ordered this jacket from her online collection. It's so beautiful. I love the neckline, it's different, but still very classy.
Well, when it came we were so excited. But lo-and-behold, it was a bit too small, the neckline was extremely uncomfortable, and unlike the picture, the entire bottom of the coat puffs out. I could twirl in the coat like it was a giant hoop skirt. Not me.

So we went shopping a few days before Christmas to a Macy's up near my Mom's house. We searched every store in the mall, and went back to my original choice. A Steve Madden pea coat that has a very similar design, in the right size, and it's classic!

It's perfect, thank you so much, hubby!

I wanted to share with you some ornaments from Pottery Barn. My mom has fallen in love with this alloy metal that's covered in shiny silver. It really gives the ornament/item a neat look that ends up being very fancy. Do you like it?

Another gift from my Mom...more wine charms! But these wine charms are perfect for Patrick because they are movie themed. We are both movie buffs, but his love way surpasses mine. Aren't these adorable? We have quite a few sets now!
