First we began our evening in Downtown Fredericksburg at a restaurant we have fallen in love with. TruLuv's. Not only is it named after Pacey's boat (from Dawson's Creek, of course), but it has amazing crab cakes and rib-eye steak. Not to mention the entire restaurant has huge windows that look out onto the local river. Beautiful!
Pat had the 14 ounce Rib-Eye steak, and I had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes with bacon-cheesy mashed potatoes and asparagus. Amazing!
Then we finished our meal with a "Love It" size of our favorite ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. I got my fan favorite...cake batter with yellow cake, hot fudge, caramel, and Reese's peanut butter cup mixed in. YUM!
Since we had to roll eachother home after that enormous meal, we headed home to watch a movie that both of us had been wanting to watch and had Netflixed.
Everybody's Fine.
A great movie that really shows you to keep in touch with your family members, no matter how old you are. Tell them the whole truth, don't leave anybody in the dark.
I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to the next week.
UPDATE: We have finally gotten the approval letters from the bank on our first home. So now we have put a rush on our appraisal, will do the termite inspection, and it looks like the closing date will either be April 9th or April 12th. IT'S COMING QUICK, PEOPLE!!!! :)
PS - I just put up a Wedding Wednesday subject schedule on the left sidebar. Go check it out and plan ahead! If you have any other subjects you would like to see covered, message me or e-mail me and I'll add it to the master schedule. I look forward to seeing you all participate!!
