Wedding Wednesday: Photographers

Welcome back to Wedding Wednesday this week! What are we talking about? Photographers. Many brides and grooms can argue that the photographer is THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect of your wedding. Some will not agree, but most do. I know that I most assuredly agree, I wanted those memories to last a lifetime, the photos provided something tangible for that.

What kind of photographer do you want, though? Do you want a more antique style?
How about more of a simple picture with a Photoshop element to it? It allows certain parts of a picture to pop.
One that knows how to set the look of a scene.

Again, the edited look. The photographer takes the time to edit a picture to create a variated look and feel.

How about one that pays attention to the details and comes up with unique and creative pictures?

I wanted to introduce you to one of my all-time favorite photographer couples, Chris and Adrienne Scott Photography. I actually went to high school with Adrienne, and she now lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband. I can't even describe how priceless their photos are.

If you are ever in the Nashville area or would want them to travel...DO IT! We hope to use them for after-the-wedding photos. I want to get back in my dress again so badly! :)

For our wedding, we used Matt Veldhuis in the DC Area. He has since moved to Florida and gone back to engineering. But he was a younger guy who we could relate to us, understand what we wanted, and all at a reasonable price. He provided engagement pictures in our package, and always went above and beyond. We got a lot more pictures than we thought we would. We were really happy with our choice!

He also found out very quickly that we are extremely corny and he went with it :) You really need a photographer who understands your personality.
