Whew! What a fun and crazy Spring Break it has been! I am so grateful for this time with friends, family, and time away from work. You can't put a price on quality family time.
Preston's first Easter was spent at Grammy's this year and it was a lot of fun. We actually headed down the day before because it's just a lot easier to haul all of our things (mostly Preston's stuff) for two days, rather than a day trip. When we only stay for a day, by the time we get things set up...it's time to leave. No thanks.
Preston is reading his Jesus Storybook Bible that Grammy gave him. This will definitely be included in our nightly reading time.

Uncle Cliff! Poor Cliff was on crutches due to a bum foot, but he still found ways to make our little guy smile.
We had to...we just had to on Easter. Bunny ears are a must! I don't think Preston was much of a fan, though.
This little boy likes his piano - he actually uses his tiny fingers to press each key. It really is cool to wach.
Then we headed outside for some formal Easter family photos in Mom's fabulously landscaped yard. She does all of that work herself and it's gorgeous. The flowers were blooming...
And Preston really enjoys being outside.

Thank goodness we got a better family picture than this one! HA! This is us in a nutshell :) I foresee many embarassing moments for Preston in the future - we will be those crazy parents who cheer so loudly during Preston's soccer game, or who bring air horns to his graduation. Good times :)
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your families as well.
Pictures from our Wilmington, NC. trip next!!
PS - Happy 6 month birthday to Preston today, I can't believe it!!
