My good friend Meredith had a fabulous idea! Here's exactly what she said:
Idea for coffe table: cut a thin piece of wood same size as the glass. Find tiles that you like and make a nice tile pattern on top of the wood. Could bring some color into the room as well depending on the tiles you use.
I was absolutely floored with this idea! I have decided that this is the plan I will go with, what do you think!? I'm definitely thinking white tile with some kind of blue design. That should bring a sweet color contrast that is new and also southern! We will also add hinges to keep the storage space, but hide such things as remotes and coasters. Tomorrow will be a good day!I am so excited! Thank you, Meredith! She should start her own blog, maybe, with crafty ideas as well as interior designing advice?? I say YES!

Another fun thing that happened today...we received a wedding gift! Yes, Miss Manners, you do have up to a year to give gifts, and we are so grateful! ;) Weddings are so much fun!
