Tonight, my husband and I ate on our dinner trays because my coffee table is currently out of service. I had some left over fried rice from our dinner last night, and accidentally left a half full bowl on the dinner tray. Brody proceeded to get on the couch, and eat directly out of my bowl. My dog is full of fried rice. It's going to be an interesting night...Brody didn't feel too good after the greasy fried rice...

Still working on a design for this coffee table so we can use it again! But first, we had break the tile from the mold...
...then cut the molding off the sides.
This was my first attempt...as you can see I couldn't finish it. It was a cool start, but wouldn't work.
I do like this border, though, as a start. What do you think?

And I ended up with this. I would have to cut a few pieces in the middle for a better fit, but I'm not quite sure I like it.
So, I'm still working on a few projects at home but I promise to keep you updated!
