Wednesday's Musings - The Dreaded Dentist

Yes, I had my dental visit today...dun dun dun! I DREAD going to the dentist...but don't we all? I don't think anyone finds it fun...

So, I went to a new dentist, which I also hate doing because I never know what to expect. Are they going to be mean, not pay attention to what I say, hurt me, drill, drill drill!?!? No, my doctor actually turned out to be a nice, easy-goin' guy with a lot of cool contraptions! He actually examined my teeth first and used a sweet tiny camera to take pictures of my teeth, and then project them on the tv screen. I've never really seen pictures of my teeth that close up. Pretty gross!

But, he was very thorough and a bit intimidating during that process. I certainly have my share of fillings, and he was saying all of them to the nurse that accompanied him. She's got a uh, DOD on molar 19...a DID on number 12, and OP on something else...he just went on and on! Wait a second, dude, is this the dentist or the public health clinic!? But, atleast he knew what he was doing. Nice guy.

Wouldn't you hate it if your dentist wore this!? That's just stupid...
I hate the dentists, but I go because I don't want to end up like this...

...or needing to do this...YIKES!

Do you ever wonder if your doctor does take things out on you? Have a bad day, doc!?

Go to the dentist people, brush your teeth, and don't get cavities. They suck.

On a much lighter note, get an XM radio if you don't have one. A good purchase and I use it all the time. (Random, I know...)

A bit of advice, don't try and call XM for customer service, you either won't get anyone that speaks English, or you won't get anyone at all...you'll be waiting for twenty minutes.
