Wednesday's Musings - Life is Short and Sweet

I was very touched early this morning from a blog post by Kelly's Korner about a fellow blogger's story. Grab your kleenex...and make sure to read about them.

The Sullivans were the cutest couple. The young couple had been married for five years and just had a beautiful baby girl named Chloe (great name!). Sara (the wife) was also suffering from breast cancer at the time that their baby girl was born.

Chloe had been born for a few days and Sara had a seizure. She went into the hospital and her situation unfortunately fell worse. Sara has now passed on, leaving a single father and his newborn baby.

I can't even begin to imagine a situation like that. I just wanted to take the time to remember how lucky I am (we are) in this life. I do understand what he wrote in one particular post...you feel a sense of relief because that person is no longer suffering. They are with their maker. If nothing else, that is a comforting feeling.

So, take the time today to give that special person(s) an extra hug, a phone call, a kiss, etc...just to tell them that you love them. Life is short and sweet, we need to live and love as much as possible :)

I have to remind myself of this on a daily basis because it is so easy to get caught up in our everyday lives that we don't think about the people around us. Take the time today :)

Happy Wednesday, folks...I look forward to hearing from you! What are your Wednesday's Musings?

I followed their story from Kelly'sKorner too. I was just in tears for them. I held my hubby a little closer last night too.

The same thing happened to a high school friend's older sister.

Tragic is the only way to describe it.

Thanks for the reminder to let my hubby know how much he means to me.

So true. Life goes by too quickly. Every now and then it's good to slow down.
