This shopping experience actually went really well. It was extremely encouraging, and I actually found a new style that works for me in a fairly short amount of time! The high-waisted dress. LOVE IT!
I bought this Worthington dress on sale for $49. It was originally $75. I can use it for the wedding and for work. A two-in-one!
I knew that pearls would work really well with this dress. No, I'm not talkin' real pearls, folks. Simply costume/fashion jewelry. But, these have a very elegant feel to them and will really pop with that outfit. $18.
What Not to Wear always talks about high-waisted dresses and how they bring out your best features. SO TRUE! They also talk about adding color to your outfit...I already had this purse. My hubby is a groomsmen, wearing a wine colored vest. Matching? Oh yes!
I also had these shoes from a couple years ago. They are some of my favorites...they really show off my legs :)
And of course, the other bling that I will be wearing...my amazing wedding ring. It's our first time attending a wedding as a married couple :) I still stare at the shiny diamonds on my left ring finger. I am very proud of what they represent! Love you, hubby! I think about our wedding day EVERY day!

We are leaving this Friday for the event and we are excited! It's always fun to leave town for a few days and reminisce with old friends. Should be a good time!
One question, though. Should I wear black stockings with my new wedding outfit!?

Super cute outfit! I just wore a similar dress but believe it or not I lucked up and found it at Wal-Mart for a whopping $16!!!! I also wore pearls with it. :)
