Wednesday's Musings: Closeted Music

I think everyone has some favorite music that is closeted. Now, what do I mean by closeted? A cd that no one knows you actually bought. The music that only you, yourself, and yourself listen to. The kind of music that you don't tell anyone that you listen to, but yet you sing your heart out in the car. The kind of music you sing with a hair brush raised to your mouth as a microphone, in front of the mirror...but yet, nobody else knows about it!

Well, I know I certainly have a few artists on my list!

Nsync: Uh, I was THE biggest teeny bopper. Justin T. is my favorite.
Celine Dion: You can't go wrong with her ballads!
Kenny G: If you're a music major, don't say a word. But gosh darnet, I love listening to his Christmas album!
Michael Buble: I know I get made fun of by my husband for enjoying his music. But, I stay a true fan!
Mandy Moore: Her new stuff is really good...but, I still LOVE her music from her teenage years. "I Wanna Be With You"...HELLO! Good stuff! :)
Ahhhhh...Nick Lachey: Loved him in Newlyweds (and own all of the dvd's)...and when I was watching that show, I only wanted to help him and Jessica financially by purchasing their cd's. But they are good! I totally still listen to them ;)
And if you've followed this blog for while, or you just plain know me...you know that I'm the biggest Jessica Simpson fan. I don't think I could tell you why, I just dig her. She's a smart business woman, and I appreciate that. I also enjoy all of her merchandise! Plus, I like her latest country album!!
Ok, ok. I know that by now you're probably shaking your head in dissapointment by my closeted musical taste. So, I'll put this music back in my closet and keep it just for myself :)

Ok, followers...now it's time to show your TRUE colors! I've been doing Wednesday's Musings for a while now, and was hoping some of you would join me! I'm testing the waters here, and hoping to not be royally rejected. Join me and tell me about YOUR closeted music! I'm excited to hear from you :)

Let's see if this works...

PS - even if it's not Wednseday...MckLinky it up!

OMG! I totally have the NSync Christmas album currently in my car CD player! LOVE IT! I think Barbara Streisand and.....drumroll.......Michael Bolton....would be my closet music. Becca and Pam found my Michael Bolton CD on the way up to VA for your bach party and they totally ragged me the whole way there!

I own several of the same ones! They are so much fun to listen to every so often! In fact, I pulled out my DVD of the NSYNC Pop Odessey tour a few Friday's ago! It was quite entertaining! I tried to watch the one from Madison Square Garden, but I couldn't get the VCR to work (sad, but maybe I'll get the DVD for Christmas!)! I'm just waiting for the NSYNC reunion tour. I still love them, and I am Lance fan!

This is fun! I too am a huge closet Jessica Simpson fan and have several of her CD's and LOVE her country album and the pop one before that. When my hubby hears it, he cringes and leaves the room or changes it if we are in the car! I like Buble as well and LOVE old 70's music. Stopping by from SITS!
