But so far the weekend has been a lot of fun and extremely relaxing...exactly what weekends should be like! Check out the snow we've gotten so far. It's also not going to stop until dawn tomorrow...woo hoo! School on Monday? I hope not!
To show you how relaxing it is...here I am in my Mom's house rockin' my new brown track suit that I got from Kohl's for Christmas. So comfortable!
I wanted to show you what my mom got me for my birthday this year. She's oh-so creative!An Old Pirate's clock...the hubby and I are both Pirates from ECU...so this is perfect. It even has a bit of purple and gold :)
A recipe box...I'm not much of a cook, but this makes me feel like I'm a great one! It's so cute and matches my red theme that I'm growing. I'm sure Pat will be able to fill this up! 
And here are the cards that go along with the box. They are perfect! We'll collect recipes for years to come!
And finally, to close out the birthday gifts, she got us 6 bamboo cooking utensils for the kitchen, a back scrubber with a massaging sponge attached, and some cute stationary from Michaels!
Thanks mom, I love my gifts! You are wonderful :)Update: Pat and I have put a bid on a house and are currently waiting to hear back from the bank on whether they approved the offer. This house is a short sale, but further along in the process because they had already pre-approved a price for the house. So, cross your fingers! We are in love with this house!!
