The first night at our hotel.
On Tuesday right before our big Kayak trip on the Inner Coastal Waterways! Off to see the Dawson's Creek house! Little did we know that it was 4 miles total, haha!
I'm kayaking!
There were beautiful Victorian homes along the waterways. Can you just imagine living in a perfect southern home like this!?
We kayaked through the piers. Steering was interesting...
But I made it!
You can tell that Pat had the camera :) PS - this is about the time that I saw the dolphin! RAD!
Beautiful home #2
Home #3
Beautiful water! Nothing but amazing scenery!
So amazing!
WE MADE IT! It's the Dawson's Creek dock!!! So many conversations happened here :)
Dawson's house with the pier! We found out that the woman who owns the home actually continued to live there all of the seven years they were filming. She just walked downstairs in the morning, got her coffee, and said hello to the cast! That rules :)
It's Jen's house, the girl next door!
Another view...no Joey ladder, though, haha.
Our tour guide Chris was awesome. A real surfer guy who's taken a picture on a canoe quite often. He was standing, balancing, and taking our picture. He got some great shots!
Shot #2
It took a couple of tries for us to get side by side. But we finally figured it out.
Pat took this awesome picture!
We finally made it!! Me with our tour guide Chris! We're definitely going back someday! I have a wicked gut in this picture, I guess I was too tired to suck it in, HA!!
Pat and Chris.
Although the four hour trip consisted of constant hydrating, eating a Clif Bar and re-applying sunscreen...this still happened to me...
The last night of our trip in Wilmington...both sunburned, haha.
And now...on to...OUR FIRST HOME! Here's a few sneak peek pictures!
We have two beautiful pink azalea bushes in our front yard...currently starting to bloom! See the tulips too in the front?

More tulips along the side of the house.
This is our wrap-around deck! We absolutely love it :)
And our view from the deck. We have the best spot in the neighborhood!
And I leave you with a video of my amazing kayaking skills!
Glad to be back folks, I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break and are doing well! Later!
Here it is....our wonderful first home together. It's crazy to say that this is our home...but it is! It's certainly a work in progress, but once we get a few things painted and straightened up inside, I'll be sure to give you all the grand tour!
Just think...3 beds, 3 1/2 baths, a walk-out basement, fenced in yard, eat-in kitchen, everything we wanted for a first home. There's a two-car driveway, no garage, but I feel so safe in this neighborhood!
