I finally found the perfect shower curtain for our THIRD full bath, located in the basement. I found this gem at Kmart for only $18.00! I adore it :) It matches really well with our oversized rug from Restoration Hardware.
Now, I'm not quite sure why I didn't think of this before, but I have a wonderful little program called Photoshop. It does wonders, I tell ya. I use it for all of my blog makeovers and I've really become very familiar with it.
So, in the midst of my drape drama, I used this to finalize my decision on whether the curtains I found from The Weed Patch would work well with the Family Room or not.

A forewarning, it's not perfect, it was done quickly and just to give my husband and I an idea. Check it out :)
They really bring a huge POP of color, we loved it :) And here is what I want to add to that room...
The leather chair is from World Market for $249.00. Yikes. Pipe dreams.
Hope you all are having a lovely weekend! And a big hello to all of my new followers, keep 'em comin'!

Before my now 3 1/2 year old sone was born and I followed him up with a sister who is now 17 months old, I sold new homes. It seems like a previous life because, well, it kinda was.
Anyhoo, we had a girl that decorated our models and she used a lot of red becasuse it's ballsy and most people just don't do it. I think those curtains are awesome and would look excellent in that room. I don't need better photoshopping. I can see the big picture.
Love the shower curtain too and am shocked you found it at Kmart!
I'm visiting from the Tea Party.

What a great idea to use photoshop to give you an idea before you buy, and then have to return it. Will definitly remember this before make another 'big' color purchase!
