Happy Wedding Wednesday to you! It's a beautiful day over here, but HOT HOT HOT. So, we're surviving. I'm so glad you decided to join us today, I look forward to seeing everyone's posts on what they did for toasting glasses!
It's always the tradition for the bride and groom to cut the cake and then link arms and toast with champagne. And that's exactly what we did.
Another beautiful gift from my Mom were these gorgeous champagne glasses. These flutes are Waterford Crystal and are currently displayed in our dining room. They have two linking hearts throughout the side. I believe they were bought from Macy's (correct me if I'm wrong, Mom).

They are called "Love and Romance". Cute, eh!?
After the cake cutting...
No throwing the cake in one another's faces - I wasn't having it in my beautiful dress! We stayed clean :)
And now the toast.
Ha, love it - check out Pat's face in the mirror! It always makes me laugh!
And the whole scene with the cake, the bouquets, and the toasting flutes. You see them there in the mirror?
There are so many ways to fulfill this tradition - but what were your toasting glasses like? You know what to do...
Mcklinky it up!
Happy Wedding Wednesday, everyone! I hope it brings back wonderful memories for you all :)

I have no idea about a toast from our wedding. That was 27 years ago....we had no video back then and very few pics...:-(
