Master Bedroom Makeover Part I

A lot of you have been anxiously awaiting the makeover de master bedroom, so I am very excited to share this post with you :)

You remember the before pics?

Well, enjoy the AFTERS!  I can't wait to hear what you all have to say!

The Master Bath - new paint!

Remember the eight frames that I bought for under $10.00 at Goodwill?

Well, here they are, new and improved!

We have been searching and searching for a great fabric to create our wonderful headboard for our queen bed.  Back when my husband was a bachelor, he used solid wood boards as his "boxsprings" (YIKES!), so those have now worked perfectly for a new MASTER sized headboard :)

We found the fabric at Ikea for $6.99 a yard...what a steal!  We also went with the directions from Centsational Girl on how to build it correctly; hopefully she'll approve ;)

This is one of our favorite projects yet!

Another view from the Master Bath.

(The two lamps and nightstands were also from Ikea)
*Nightstands - $39.99 a piece
*Lamps - $9.99 a piece

From the Master Closet.

The hanging light that's in the left-hand corner was also from Ikea$12.99, and we just love the contemporary look of it.

Now, all I have left to find is the right style and color curtains for a pop of color, as well as a fun reading chair for the corner.

I think we're off to a great start!  What do you think?

Wow! You are doing a great job. I would have to hire someone to make mine look that good. I was left out when the decorative genes were being handed out.

I am your newest follower just relaxing and surfing on this beautiful Sunday.

I hope you are having an excellent day!
