The Holiday Home Necessities

Yup, still trying to decorate my house!  Surprise, surprise!

Some new things are headed my way, though, in the next few months.  First of all, I finally found some curtains that I have fallen in love with for my formal Dining Room and Living Room.  So excited!

Found these puppies online at Target...pretty pricey, though - $36.99 a panel.  SHEESH!  That's why I only bought two for now to put in the dining room.  A girl needs curtains for Thanksgiving, people!

I think they will simply look fabulous in here, and I adore the fact that I have the best of both worlds - pattern AND sheer.  SWEET!

The next item on our list before Christmas is this beautiful artificial tree from Home Depot. 

To be exact, it's the: GE 7-1/2 Ft. Pre-Lit Just Cut Frasier Fir Tree with 750 Clear Lights for $239.00.  At first, I thought that price was way too high, but looking around, it's actually the best price I can find.

I also added a fun little change to the blog today...musically.  I wanted to share with you my absolute favorite soundtrack in the entire world.  The soundtrack from the infamous movie, Rudy.

If you've never seen it, it's a MUST SEE - and I will never forget my days in college, going up to the third floor of the library for quiet study, with my headphones on, playing the soundtrack to Rudy.  This soundtrack gave me a lot of A's in college!

It always calms me down, I hope it does the same for you during this hectic season!
