Fancy Up Your Blog!

Ok, every since summer started, I have been so into my blog and making it over. I want to simply make it fun to look at and to catch the readers eye. I am also very interested in building my fan base and blog following. Who knows if I will be successful, but it can't hurt to try :)

I've been reading up on quite a few other blogs that I've started following, and they take a lot of pictures, they enjoy life, and it shows through their blog postings. I just think it's very neat :) Some that I've started following are:

Like Patrick just said: I've found my "reality tv" of the blog world :) It's fun to keep up with these people and get to know their story. Pretty neat.

But, if you've checked out those blogs, you'll see that they all have a fabulous decorative theme to their blog. It catches your eye and it's also a bit of their personalities shown through their own blog make-over. So, I thought I'd share with you some sites that can give you FREE decorative pieces, fonts, etc. that you can use to fancy up your own blog! It's fun, and FREE!

Kevin & Amanda have a lot of great fonts that you can use on your blog to spruce it up a bit. Script fonts to handwriting fonts, they have it all!

The Cutest Blog on the Block is actually the site I used for my current background. They have a lot of great themed backgrounds that can fit your taste, as well as helpful tips to change up some html things on your blogger site. All free and easy to use!

And lastly, I just found this site through one of my current followers, Petals and Pine!

Shabby Blogs:

This is a great site for some fun items that can make your blog your own and also has a wonderful antique feel to it. Always my favorite :)

Or you can take a little more of an expensive route and have your blog completely made over by a blog designer. Some of us aren't the most creative, so this might be the route you'll want to take. Here are a few that have caught my eye :)
