Fun Fact Sunday!

Can you hear it!? I've changed up my blog playlist a bit, hopefully to your enjoyment as well! I like to change it up every now and again to go along with what I'm currently listening to and enjoying. I'm a country girl, what can I say? So, I've added a few songs from such artists as Taylor Swift, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban, The Wreckers, Kenny Chesney, Switchfoot, and my opener is of course from the Dixie Chicks: Wide Open Spaces. This tune can never get old and it fits my blog style well. Enjoy the new tunes, bloggers...maybe even make your own playlist for your personal blog!
I am very excited for The Time Traveler's Wife movie to come out. Although, I'm not sure if I should read the book beforehand. Has anyone already read it and have any advice? I think the story looks fabulous, and I'm a sucker for a romantic movie.
In my previous post I talked about our awesome trip to Massanutten. But what I didn't tell you was that, to my dismay, we had to board our precious dog, Brody. Now, we've kept him at our vet for a day or two for vaccines or shots so they can keep a good eye on him, but never to simply go on vacation. We just couldn't find someone to watch him while we were gone so this was our only option. Brody is so used to being king of the house that it's always traumatizing for him to stay in a cage for days. As a mom, I hate it too!

But, once we got him back we certainly pampered him! He got a much needed bath....and here's a before (a dry Brody)...
...and a wet Brody in the tub...
...and again.
Needless to say, he feels much better, has caught up on sleep and on food. He doesn't eat much when we are away, unfortunately. We're glad to have him back!

And I owe a big shout out to ANOTHER new follower, Kris Norman at The Norman Adventures and Kris Norman Photography! She seems like a pretty cool gal and I'm excited to have her as a reader.

Emily has read the Time Traveler's Wife and I know she loved it. And the movie is 30-something% fresh on RT so... go go book.
