Summer Time

Just a couple updates from the house today! It's almost summer for me (has been for a week for the hubby) and I'm super stoked! Just ready for some down time to focus on me, my husband, and our house. I'm more than ready :)

Notice anything different!? Yup, you got it! We added our hanging baskets for the season. I found them at Meadows Farms - wholesale price through Ground Effects. If you are in the Northern Virginia area, you need to call on them for some amazing landscaping work, on top of many other things!
Here are a few flowers around our house that are just blooming. A gorgeous yellow.

These are the new hanging baskets we got - I love the white and pink, they look great with the house.

I've been stopping by GoodWill every couple of days lately to look for some miscellaneous items that we need around the house. I came across these two items today.

A beautiful teal vase - $2.00! It will go great in the basement.

And a perfect lamp for our basement as well - $2.99. It goes wonderfully with our new furniture! Isn't it sweet!?

I'll let you know when I dress it up with a wicked cool lamp shade.
