Team Jacob

Nope, I'm not talkin' about Twilight, folks.  I'm talking about this little guy...

The beautiful son of these parents...our wonderful friends Eric & Emily.

We had an absolutely amazing time in NC this weekend.  Playing games, playing with Jacob, swimming in the pool at 10pm, eating amazing food, and just having an enjoyable time with great people!

Just watch how easy it is to fall in love with this little rascal!

There was a brewery in town that was showcasing some of their beers, so we thought we'd head out for some free food and drinks.  Needless to say, the beer was not amazing, but it was free! 

We found this caboose and tried to re-create a wedding photo of ours :)

Emily and I also went out to three great thrift stores for some antique shopping.  I found this little Christmas decoration for a whopping $2.00!

Beads, beads, and more beads!  Remember my Pandora bracelet?  Well, I've gone beadless for a while now because those Pandora beads start at $25.00 a piece and only go up!  It's crazy!  But, we were in a shop and my husband spotted these.  They were...

A DOLLAR A PIECE!  Oh, people, I went crazy :)  Aren't they so pretty!  I love the colors :)

I also found this jug in our last antique shop.  Usually these guys are a good $70 to $80, but I asked the shop owner how low he'd go.  Guess what I got it for...

$24.50.  So stoked!

I'm excited about my posts this week.  I'll have a great recipe for Pico de Gallo, the big reveal of our Family Room Curtains (they are in!), and a fabulous Wedding Wednesday :) 

Ya know, it's always nice to go on vacation, and then come back home to more vacation :)  Summer break is still 2 weeks strong, so I'm soaking it all in!
